It was good to be with you today! For those of you that were unable to make it, we missed you!
Couple of things. We have pushed back the time of the Christmas party on Dec 7th to 7:00pm. If you need to come late that will be fine. Just bring a gift valued at $10 and have it wrapped 5-7 times with lots of tape! We'll play a fun game. Also, you need to sign up with Lynsey if you have not already and bring her your $6 for dinner for the party. This will be a fun night and I look forward to it!
We are going to go ahead and kick the new year off with Don't Waste Your Life. Their were only 2-3 people that really expressed an interest in the Marriage study. So, we'll do Piper's study and I'll make the marriage study available to anyone that would like to do it at home. Just let me know.
We'll work on Psalm 119 verses 1-104 through the end of the year. Try to have that much memorized and we'll start the year off fresh in January with the rest of the verses. We are on the downhill slope now. You can do it!!
I can't believe that we are finishing up our Desiring God book already. The year has flown by. God has taught me so much through this book. It has been a blessing and it has given me a deeper hunger for God and His Word. I pray it has you too! I can't wait to move on to the next study with you and see what God does next!
I pray that you all have safe travels and a great week for Thanksgiving and that you enjoy your time with family! I will be leaving on Monday for my parents and will return late Saturday night. So, I will be back in time for Sunday and we’ll finish up our study on Suffering from Desiring God.
