It was so good to be with you on Sunday. It truly is a joy to spend time with you.
I hope you are loving chapter 4 in our study together as much as I am. There are some great/deep things to discuss. I also appreciate you being so gracious to me in our lesson time even though I was unprepared. I think that it went really well considering. Maybe I ought to try that again sometime. ;)
Even though we did not get very far into the chapter I really think that we are gettin somewhere! We will take this chapter as slow as we need to and let the LORD do a number on us. Thank you all so much for speaking up and sharing your hearts. God has put a desire in our hearts to know and LOVE Him and it thrills me to hear you all talk about it....Even if it's through tears!
We are going to walk this journey together and seek God in intimacy together and we are going to GET this!! We will all learn to be satisfied in God alone and to do whatever it takes for others to do the same. Serving God is costly but it will bring us GREAT joy....joy we've never known.

The Lord is using this material to change the way I think about everything...the world, what I work for, what I think about. He is showing me the worthlessness of so many things that I spend my time, money, and effort on. When I compare the things the world says are important to standing before the God of the universe and taking Him in, it does not compare.
