Chi Alpha Homecoming Concert, June 17
All Things New
Chi Alpha Choir leaves Saturday for their mission trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. They are sharing the Joy of the Gospel through music and preaching. The 165 students in grades 9-12 will be doing church construction, working with local churches to provide VBS and sport camps and sharing Christ in the city through intentional evangelism.

Home Concert. On Sunday evening June 17 Chi Alpha will present their All Things New home concert. It begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The concert will include worship, video recap and testimonies from the New Orleans mission trip.
Clarkston Family Mission Trip/Block Party
On Saturday, June 16, a team from Hunter Street will conduct a Block Party for residents of the English Oaks community in Clarkston, GA.This is a great opportunity for families and singles to take a one-day mission trip to serve at this fun event. The block party will include music, games like a hula hoop relay, water balloon toss, hop scotch and face painting. The Gospel will be shared and picnic food will be served.

Chat And Snack With Internationals
The ESL Ministry is planning a time this summer for you to visit with internationals.It’s called Chat & Snack and is a time to converse with and learn more about those from other countries who are here learning to speak English. It’s a great way to share the love of Christ with internationals without leaving the country. The conversation begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room on Wednesdays June 13, 20 and in Room E301 on June 27 and July 11, 18. Contact Cindy Woodham.
Register For Girlfriends Day June 23
Girlfriends is a mission event sponsored by our Women’s Ministry.Ladies, plan to join us on Saturday, June 23 to serve our church and the community. We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Student Building and disperse from there to serve in three different areas of ministry.
Opportunities include: visiting our Homebound members, working with children at Backyard Bible Club, or hands-on projects at Lake Highland Baptist Church. Registration is required, but there is no fee. You must register by Wednesday, June 20.
Renovation Begins June 25
A major renovation to our Sanctuary will begin in just a few weeks.We are excited about the new colors, carpet, flooring, seating and much more that will occur during July and early August. Be watching for complete details about our Sunday worship service locations and what will be happening with the renovation this summer!
Summer Camp Roundup
Camps for all ages!Nellie’s Song Preschool Camp. This camp is three days, July 10, 11 and 12, of Bible fun that will focus on teaching preschoolers the joys of praising God! It’s for children, ages 3 (as of September 1, 2012) to completed K-5. Camp times are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Click here to download the registration form. The cost is $60. Zapped! Kid Camp. Zapped! is for boys and girls who have completed grades 2-4. It’s July 12-14 at Camp Boothe in Greenpond. The total cost is $115, with a $50 deposit (non-refundable) due at registration. Register at the Church Office or the Kid Quest desk.
Drama Camp. Here’s a dramatic opportunity for kids who have completed grades 4-7! Camp meets 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the week of July 9-13 at Hunter Street. This camp will give children the chance to develop confidence both on-stage and off while working with scripts, learning both performance and technical aspects of theater. To register, call the Arts Academy office at 205.739.5350. There is a fee for the camp and space is limited.
