Announcements

**Our Class Christmas Party is Friday December 9th 6:30 at Carin's house.
Address and Food link to come.
We will play our regift game. Plan to bring a wrapped gift....whether it be something you received as a gift and you do not want....or something fairly nice that you know you want to get rid of. You can bring what you received last year too if you want. :-)  (Don't spend money) This is just for fun!

**Giving Christmas
Please plan to give to Lottie Moon this year before giving toward our Giving Christmas Mission.
We've decided to provide a suitcase to 2 children in Foster Care this year. Please plan to bring in money this Sunday or next.....and at the very latest Friday December 9th at the Christmas party.
We are looking to donate around $200 so just give what you can give (it's not mandatory of course) and we'll see if we can get close to $200 for our 2 Foster Care kiddos.

Thanksgiving Schedule

There will be no Wednesday night activities on November 23. The Church Office and the Recreation Outreach Center (ROC) will be closed on November 24 and 25. The ROC will close at noon on Wednesday, November 23 and resume regular hours on November 28.

Guest speaker Dr. Mark Gignilliat will explore Isaiah's prophecy in this special one-session Wednesday Night Life class. In the early church, Isaiah’s prophecy was often described as “the fifth gospel.” Dr. Gignilliat will give special attention to the Advent themes of the book. He is associate professor of divinity at Beeson Divinity School where he teaches Hebrew, Old Testament Exegesis, and Biblical Theology.

Mother/Daughter Brunch

. All girls in grades 5 through 12 and their moms are invited to a special brunch hosted by our Girls’ Ministry. It’s a time to enjoy food, fellowship and talking about the joy found in Jesus. We will also be collecting baby wipes and children’s books for our ministry partner, Save-a-Life in Vestavia. Books can be new or gently-used and should be appropriate for babies to 3 year olds. Tickets, $7 are available online and at the Student Building.
